Silverdale designs, plans and project-manages property developments across the Isle of Man — from land appraisal through to a finished, occupied building — with our sister company DGC's own in-house team, and a trusted network of tried and tested specialist contractors.
Silverdale is the development and design arm of the group. Our sister company, Drainage & Groundwork Contractors Limited (DGC), has its own in-house team delivering drainage, groundworks and civil engineering — including live infrastructure contracts for the Isle of Man's utilities and public sector.
For everything beyond groundworks and civils, we bring in a trusted network of tried and tested specialist contractors — people we've worked with before and would use again — project-managed by us, so every scheme has one point of accountability from planning application to handover.
Architectural drawings, 3D visualisation and planning strategy for every scheme.
DGC takes every scheme through to a watertight finish in-house; a trusted contractor network delivers from there.
One team managing programme, budget and quality from concept to completion.
Every project is backed by clear, honest reporting — real progress measured against the plan, not just a call when something's gone wrong. If a cost or a timeline is about to shift, you hear it from us first.
We think ahead, not just on schedule — forecasting for the unforeseen so problems get managed quietly, before they become your problem. Whether you're on site every week or checking in from the other side of the world, the process stays the same: you're never left wondering.
Groundworks, drainage, civils and the structural shell, through to a watertight finish: DGC's own team, direct. Everything from there: a small, trusted network of specialist contractors we've used before and would use again — not an open tender to strangers.
One project manager, start to finish. You deal with one person who knows your job inside out, not a chain of subcontractors passing you between them.
By being involved from the start. The earlier we're brought in — before a design is locked in — the more scope there is to find cost-effective solutions, rather than fixing an expensive problem later.
From a single-room renovation or extension through to a multi-unit development — same team, same process, same attention either way.
Whether it's a development, a self-build, or an extension — the earlier Silverdale is involved, the more we can do to find cost-effective solutions to the problems every project runs into, before they become expensive ones. Land appraisal, feasibility studies and early planning advice cost you nothing to ask about, and it's the stage where we can do the most to protect your budget.
The earlier we're involved, the more we can help.
